What to expect?
Just like any modern metropole, Las Palmas of Gran Canarias has much to offer and even more to see like emblematic places and hidden spots.
You get picked up in your hotel to go to Las Palmas, a city founded at the end of the 15th century. The first stop explores the historic quarter of Vegueta with its churches, the famous Plaza of Santa Ana and the home-museum of Christopher Columbus, the house he lived in when he stopped on the island on his way to the new but yet unknown continent. There is plenty of time to discover the most charming spots of this quarter such as the town’s market and the street Calle Mayor de Triana.
Next stop is the visit to the top shopping streets of the city to take a look at the offer and have some lunch before heading to one of the best beaches in all Spain: Playa de Las Canteras. Enjoy this beautiful, urban beach midst of a lively city. At the end of the tour, participants are brought back to their hotel.
