Sacred Mountains Route: Artenara and Tejeda village

What to expect of the Sacred Mountains Route?

This 7-hour guided tour is designed to share and learn with us the history and anecdotes of the places we will visit in an enjoyable way. Our guides are specialised professionals who are specifically trained to interact with our clients and interpret the development of the excursion, making each outing a unique and different experience. To achieve this, our groups are for a maximum of 18 people.
We will start the route towards the village of Moya to visit the house-museum of Tomás Morales, a modernist poet of the islands. We will continue our route visiting various viewpoints in the central area of the island, for example, the caldera de Los Pinos de Gáldar, to take spectacular panoramic views of the Montañón negro and Tenerife. At midday, we will stop in the village of Artenara and admire its sacred mountains, at an altitude of 1240 m, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019. We will finish the tour in Tejeda, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, with its breathtaking views of the Bentayga and Roque Nublo, with coffee and delicious almond sweets.
