What to expect?
Our route is entirely on secondary tarmac roads, which makes our activity suitable for all ages and allows for a relaxed yet fun atmosphere. The tour lasts about 4 and a half hours and takes place in open-top Land Rover Defender 4×4 jeeps with a driver and a capacity for 6 passengers.
We will meet at the Dunes of Corralejo, where we will make our first stop to admire the wonderful landscape and where you will be able to take pictures. We leave Corralejo in the direction of Lajares, a small village where we can see some plantations of Agaves (also called Pitas) and visit the craft shops and typical products of the area. We will drive off-road and see the volcano of Bayuyo until we reach the village.
The next visit and stop will be in El Cotillo, cosy beaches, charming village, good restaurants, the fishing harbour, lighthouse and castle included, can you ask for more, this is why this area is emblematic and the desired holiday place for the Canarian inhabitants themselves.
In El Cotillo, we will have free time for lunch, a swim in its fantastic beaches or simply stroll through the village and have a drink in one of its terraces. We will go to the dock and the fortress of Tostón, built at the end of the 18th century to defend the island from pirate invasions.
Before we start our return journey, we will pass through the area of Tindaya, to admire its magical and unique mountain, a sacred place for the ancient aborigines who inhabited Fuerteventura. Then we will visit the village of La Oliva, where the municipal seat of the whole area is located, another village with a history of its own.
In short, we offer you a very balanced excursion, with little mileage, through quiet areas, with personality and combining knowledge with beach time, enjoy it with your family or friends.
Come and enjoy it with your family or friends!
