What to expect?

La Calderada Bandama and its peak make up the Natural Monument of Bandama, an area of great singularity and scientific interest that is located within the Protected Landscape of Tafira. The perfect structure of the caldera makes it one of the most beautiful in the Canary Islands.

We will visit the largest garden in Spain, the Jardín Canario, which has become a great reference for the conservation of the local endemic flora. With more than 27 hectares, it is home to a magnificent representation of the autochthonous flora of the Canary Islands and the whole of Macaronesia. You will enjoy a pleasant walk while observing beautiful landscapes full of both autochthonous and endemic flora.

We will visit the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the historic district of Vegueta. Its history can be felt at the street level. This neighborhood of colonial houses is home to many of the great monuments of the Canary Islands. In its squares, you will find historical buildings such as the Casa de Colón, the Cathedral of Santa Ana, the Canarian Museum, and many more. A few steps from the old town of Vegueta is the Calle Mayor de Triana, one of the most beautiful streets of the city, where all the main commercial franchises are concentrated.

We will stop at Santa Catalina Park, one of the most important meeting points due to its proximity to Las Canteras Beach and its proximity to the cruise terminal, being one of the most famous tourist sites in the city.

Between the municipalities of Ingenio and Agüimes lies one of the largest ravines in the archipelago, the Guayadeque ravine. It is noted for its pre-Hispanic archaeological remains and for its valuable endemic flora and fauna. It is also notable for the large number of cave houses, including a hermitage carved out of the rock.

The historic quarter of the town of Agüimes is an enveloping and intoxicating environment. Life is an art form in Agüimes, every corner of the old town seems to have been sculpted with a chisel, creating an environment where tradition merges with history. This has forged a network of streets, alleys, squares, and passages whose beauty is captivating. In the Plaza de San Antón, visitors can enjoy the different buildings that exist, such as the houses of the peasants and the bourgeoisie, some of which are nowadays converted into craft workshops.

Feel the history and culture of Gran Canaria, don’t miss it!
