What to expect from this boat tour in Gran Canaria?
Embark on a unique marine adventure and discover the remarkable biodiversity of cetaceans in the waters surrounding Gran Canaria! Our coast is one of Europe’s prime spots to observe up to 30 different species of cetaceans, including dolphins, whales, orcas, and porpoises, all in their natural habitat.
Unlike fish, these marine mammals breathe air, have warm blood, and nurse their young, making your experience of dolphin and whale watching even more extraordinary as you observe these fascinating creatures up close in the wild.
We offer two daily departures from Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria, for a 2.5-hour tour. Our boat, Spirit of the Sea, is designed to offer you an unforgettable experience. With a capacity for 97 people, it features a large glass bottom that lets you view the captivating marine life beneath the waves as we cruise along the stunning southwest coast of the island.
During the tour, our professional, multilingual crew will keep you informed about each sighting and help you identify the different species we encounter. Although we almost always spot dolphins, in the rare event we don’t, we’ll give you a free return ticket to try again on another day.
Our company is deeply committed to the respect and protection of marine life. We hold all necessary permits from the Government of the Canary Islands to conduct this activity ethically and sustainably, ensuring each sighting is made with the utmost care for these incredible animals.
Get ready to experience the thrill of seeing dolphins, and perhaps even whales, in their natural environment. Not only will you take home unforgettable memories, but also a newfound connection with the sea that will make you a champion for marine conservation.
