What to expect?

The island of Cabrera is located South of Majorca and is an example of environmental protection. Among the most important sightseeings is the Castle of Cabrera, built in the 15th century and declared of cultural interest, it allows great views over the island. Another important place is the monument to the French soldiers held captive here during the Napoleonic Wars. Then we have the charming “Cantina del Puerto”, the lighthouse N’Enciola (3 hours excursion), the trekking route “Na Picamosques” and Cabrera’s Museum (built on top of an old wine cellar)

We have thoroughly enjoyed both the Landing and the Sea Tour over the past few weeks. Both, in their different ways, offer an excellent introduction to Cabrera, quite a contrast to Mallorca itself. Just wish we had more time. The Marcabrera staff, both in the office and on the boat, were professional and most helpful, particularly as they satisfactorily resolved a problem of our own making with our reservation. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

Friendly booking staff and useful departure slots. V professional captain with good English. Great sea swimming and a fabulous blue cave with amazing water. Not sure if the six-hour trip would be too long but 2.5 hours was spot on. Great views of the coast on the way back. Need cap, sunnies, and tons of suncream! Wear swim stuff. Easy to find at the main port.
